c section!

I'm having a c section in the nextcoyples of days and it's my firstim getting quite nervous/scared any one got any tips for me to help me calm down!

I threw up during my c section because I was do nervous but but everything part of my body was numb so I had to turn my head an let it run out.   Yuck! But yes eat alot the day before cause you can't eat 12 hours before an then that day you can't eat solids either. An just try to get some good sleep it's very quick an easy it'll be over before you know it

After you have your csec
If you need to sneeze or cough or even laugh hold a pillow to your tummy with a little pressure applied it will help brace your tummy and hurt less.

Also when moving around use your leg and arm muscles e.g. Getting in and out of bed. If you use your tummy muscles it hurts!!

Also take it easy fo not push yourself past what you can handle and do not think of yourself as a faliure because you had to have a csec.

Npe i actually was falling asleep i knocked out a lil bit.. i had a epidural nd a lil reil of the mesicine fir the epidural whilet rying to push nd wen the put me for the c section they gave me another epidural at the top of my back to numb mt whole bodt at that time i was so gone i didnt even see them cut me or nun with tht mirror cus i was falling in and outta sleep. I remember kissing my son but thts it nd then i woke up n recovery

My doc gave me the run down for a cesarean because I may be having one and she said that you can even have water?? Nothing 12 hours before

Hmm wow i didnt kno tht.. i had an emergency c section as well.

You can't eat up to 12 hours before your c section ifyou do risk choking during the surgery

Yes eat as much as u an cus after u dnt get to eat much but like ice nd water nd maybe jello small stuff like tht..

Well one eat as big of a meal that you can lol due to not being able to eat but I had a c section unplanned I tried to just think of how happy I will be once my baby was born. So just stay positive.
