can a twin still be hiding?

Okay so I've had a feeling it's twins for the longest but my 7 week ultrasound showed one. Again I began feeling movement incredibly early at 11 weeks albeit it's my second pregnancy. I am measuring about2-3 weeks ahead. I had my concerns because of the movement's in two different spots at the same time at 16weeks and I thought the baby would be too small to do that....so I voiced my concern to my obgyn and she was very skeptical but during the Doppler we both clearly heard 2 heartbeats that were different from each other and loud and strong healthy heartbeats.....so I had an ultrasound at 17 weeks that only showed one large baby... but I still feel like there is another hiding in there. They could not explain the 2nd heartbeat but I felt they didn't look every where like cervix to findings they just looked at my one large baby in the middle...... now I am obese and this happened to my cousin where she is obese and had 2 ultrasounds and at birth she had twins and everyone  was completely surprised. I feel a lot of pressure where my bladder is and I thought by now the baby should  have moved up and I still feel that "feels like more" movement. Can another baby be hiding still? Can my belly fat be making it hard to see? Could a twin be hiding behind my bladder? I get another ultrasound on Thursday for my 19 week anatomy scan.... as for the heartbeats they were heard one down near my bladder and the other was at my belly button.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that while no tests are perfect, the ultrasounds now a days are pretty good.  Even in an obese patient, it is hard to miss a twin.  We do have an occassional surprise, but if you 19 week anatomy scan STILL shows only one baby--there probably is only one baby.
Good luck!

I was said it twins on first ultrasound just 8 weeks, also level of hcg was almost double high.    Mine babies were easy to see on ultrasound from beginning. One is near bladder and one near stomach. Now it is 20 weeks, but i took 9 kg it is not very much or little, so it is not a symptom.

My pulse was checked too and they did not match mine and the placenta was heard too and did not match either. In the US it showed one  large baby and one really large placenta beneath it and surrounded by a ton of fluid.
