concerned about my pregnancy!

Hi Doc,

I've been fretting about this since last night.  I have taken 2 hpt's both were positive. my period is 3 days late so far and i've been having pregnancy symptoms up until now, however here's the problem. last night i notice that my symptoms were, for lack of a better word, disappearing. my nausea isn't as bad, no frequent urination, my breasts are only sore to the touch, nipples are more sensitive but everything else is just vanishing. when before they were strong...i've also been noticing cramps that are a mild form of period cramps. they're not as bad and not as frequent. the just come and go throughout the day. is this normal? or should i be concerned?

thanks

Hello,

No one could say for certain.  If you have worsening abdominal and/or pelvic pain, or heavy vaginal bleeding you should be seen by a physician or present to an emergency room.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing

As far as I know, you should only be concerned if you are bleeding. Some women's symptoms come and go frequently, others don't even get any symptoms. Everyone is different. Cramps are often associated with pregnancy, your uterus is stretching and so it should be! I wouldn't be too concerned unless you are bleeding!
