confused about due date
Ok well I had a baby at 33 weeks + 3 days.. water borke at 31 weeks, bed rest for 2 weeks, had ultrasound, found blood clot between babys head & my cervix, so they decided to induce my that day.. I wasnt dilating fast enough so they gave me an emerg c section.
Ok.. baby in NICU 5 weeks, then after I was feeling ok, my hubby & I started having sex. I was breastfeeding, (baby born march 12 2009), first real period April 19th lasted about 6 or 7 days, had sex april 30th & may 10th, had what i thought was another period may 18th, sex on june 7th.. spotting 9th, 10th & 11th.. had sex july 6th with some bleeding after. OK hope you follow me so far. because i was getting bleeding or my period I did not think i was pregnant.. found out in early august that i was.. apparently i was already about 3 months along.. because i had my dating ultrasound so late they said it may not be very accurate. they gave me a due date of feb 2nd 2010 based on ultrasound & period dates. Any idea what my actual due date should be because i think it makes more sense to go by my last period being april 19th and prob concieved on the april 30th? or a day or 2 later? Thinking my due date may be Jan 24th?? HELP! Im scheduled for c section jan 29th although i think my dates are off & i could have baby sooner based on that. Today is Jan 21st. any ideas or advice?

april sounds accurate to me in which case wouldn't your due date be march?? 40 weeks from when you conceived....anyways it might be old fashioned but take into consideration also your measurements..where the top of your uterus measures based on the average women would say how far along she is. its a rough estimate but it would give you a better idea and might help to support the other dates. if you were 3 months along is that when you had your dating ultrasound? how would 12 weeks be innaccurate?
Due to being high risk .. as my last pregnancy my water broke at 31 weeks & had baby at 33 weeks, and being pregnant so quick after the delivery by c section they would rather me not go into labor to avoid complications with incision opening from the inside, as well I have gest. diabetes.
I think you should go with what the doctors say,afterall, they do this for a living. Why are they scheduling you a c-section?
