does breast feeding make your breast shrink?

So I hear alot of people tell me that breast feeding makes your breast shrink smaller than the pre pregnancy size. Is this true?

I breast fed both my girls and mine have gotten smaller both times but I think it could be from loosing my weight to fast. I have friends who were heavier befor pregnancy and theirs didnt get smaller so maybe its different wirh each person. Im definitly going to look into it further tho because I dont have much more to loose after this time. Befor I got pregnant with my 1st I was a 38 b (i know not very big) and now in a 34 a if that!

I did have smaller boobs but it was because I lost 25lbs more than my pre-pregnancy weight like rachyrou was talking about. I just tend to loose weight there. But I'm pregnant again and they are getting bigger. I have 6 different bra sizes in my drawer. It's crazy!

My mom and sisters didn't have that happen. They all ended up with bigger after they were done breastfeeding. I think everyone is different so you have to keep that in mind as well.

No.it can.help weight loss which for some women means losing weight in their breasts but breastfeeding does nor mean they'll shrink. Especially to smaller than pre pregnancy size .
