fever during pregnancy

I'm 7weeks pregnant today n I'm in the hospital because ive had a fever for the past two days with some stomach pain but I don't have any morning sickness has this happened to anyone before?

I went to the doctor and they told me I have upper respiratory illness and that is contagious and has No known cure but last 10 days all together. I was told to drink a lot of Gatorade and soup nothing else.

Its most likely being caused because your body is working over time, not only to make baby, but not to fight off this bug you caught. Our immune system suffers greatly while we are pregnant because all our bodies energies are focused on healthy baby, we kind of take a back burner even to our own bodies. Another cause of high heat is hormones shifting, but that feels more like hot flashes and isn't as constant as what you are describing. My best suggestion to you is drink a lot of water to replace what you sweat out, and sleep sleep sleep! I hope you feel better soon!
