getting pregnant with one ovary

I have recently found out i have had my right ovary and tube removed during a op for cysts
this happeded 4yrs ago,i was at the doctors as i haven't been able to conceive am looking for advice
and hope if anyone has fallen pregnant with only one ovary.Sadly i am not able to get examined or further
tests as the waiting list is 2-3 yrs so if anymore could give me info or alittle hope please let me know thanks

i hade a pregnancy in my right tube that led to alot of blood and infection any way the tube was removed i have been pregnant 3 times since i have one 4 almost 5 year old daughter and i am pregnant again i was told i wouldnt have kids and now im having my second !!! there is hope !!!! oh and i never have any treatments or help from Dr.

30something13 is living proof!  However, if you haven't the opportunity to go for further examinations or tests like a sonogram, as you mentioned, I'd encourage you to start charting your BBT and other fertility signs.  An insightful charting book to learn from is "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler.  Best of luck to you!

I had a triple burn and cut tubal ligation 8 years ago and then a year ago I had a reversal and only one tube could be repaired. I now have a little baby boy 5 months. You only need one tube for pregnancy! It is the same with an ovary, I was told it can take longer sometimes as you only ovulate from one side each month! It is not every other month that you O from a side either, you can O from one side for several months then go to another side. I siggest that you have a sonogram each month to see what side you are Oing from and plan for pregnancy that way! Also taking your temp etc... Best of luck to you

hi,i have a friend that lose one of her tube by pregnancy and she also lose her baby too,well she got pregnant again with the one tube and lose the tube and also the baby,and believe it or not she got pregnant again without tubes and have her baby.the doctors says its a miracle cause this has never happen,so i think you can get pregnant with one tube.
