glucose test. prep?

So my doc wasent very clear on the prep i have to do for this test. I just looked up a prep and it said i cant eat or drink for 8 hrs befor the test!!! Is that true??? If so i already screwd that up with a bagle n hour n a half ago n my test is in 2 n a half hours! Ek! Should i stop drinking my ine small dayly coffee now and no water ether?!?! Help =[

My doctor told me only 4 slices of wheat bread 2 with butter and 2 with peanut butter...that's it.. ):

My doctor told me i could eat just not 3 donuts lmfao so im guessing no sweet stuff before the test and when i took the test they didnt tell me anything about eating .. and i ate like 30 mins before the test

Like I said call the place your testing at I know quest won't do it if you ate

Walking around after the drink helps low ur numbers

Only the 3 hours test is done fasting for 8 hours. U should be fine as long as you don't eat much carbs and sweets

My doctor never told me I had to stop eating before the test they just told me I couldn't eat after the test before I got my blood drawn. I passed my test.

Call the place your testing at and ask them I didn't eat anything since midnight the night before acc nd posed with flying colors

I have my test today too and on my paper it says I'm able to have a light breakfast but not to eat or drink anything after the glucose drink
