I had mine today and they've changed it up since 3 years ago. The drink was bomb. It was a red one like fruit punch. And it was 2 hours instead of just one. They drew blood first, then an hour later, then another hour. Like I only have two arms! Had to do one arm twice. Glad I got that outta the way

Just hope you don't have to take the 3 hour test! I had to take it and they had to draw blood 4 times from the same arm. It was not fun.

Ya same here except 3 vials in the beginning at 10 then 1 @ 11 and 1 @ 12

I had my regular app at ten thirty..
And the first time they took blood, it was 11:30 (2 viles). Second time 12:30 (one vile). Third time 1:30 (one vile). Then finely got to go home and eat.. What about you?

I also had mine today.. I had the orange flavor though, that want bad either.. Just tasted like strong orange hici..
I had all three shots on one arm... And the nurse hurt me the 1st time.. -_-

The first time was the orange soda and they just took blood out 1 hr after drinking it. I failed that one amd had to go back again.  2nd time was the fruit punch and I thought that one was horrible. It was way worse than the orange soda one. And they took blood out before drinking it and 3 times after. Of course once every hour. My blood was drawn from the same arm and in the exact same spot. Because my veins are very deep and hard to find. Everyone always has a hard time taking blood out from me. It *****! But im used to it.

Dr told me that my levels still didn't cone back normal but weren't high enough to say I have gestational diabetes.  I have to get tested again at 32 weeks.  Kinda worried.

I had 5 mins to drink mine, came back an hour later and they took blood from me once and that was it

I asked her if their was a reason why I had to do 2 hours or if everyone does. She said everyone is different it depends on your levels. But I hadn't done any other one except for the screening test a while ago so idk if they checked that one for blood sugar levels i dunno still doesn't really make sense to me

That is so weird. My friend works at the office they do the blood work and she was the one doing it I'm gonna text her now and see why

Wow, that's crazy. I thought the fruit punch was pretty good, had 5 min. to drink It and I downed It In 2 lol. But I only had to wait an hour and had my blood drawn once.

That sounds like the more in-depth glucose.  I had that after failing my first (only because the damn nurse gave me chocolate).  Mine was orange.. it was like orange soda.  I drank it so fast they were all laughing.  But my original test was 1 hour... then the other was as you described but only after failing.  Those crappy nurses poked me 6 times.  I had bruises everywhere. I had to request a lady from phlebotomy (sp?) come and do it!
