glucose test???

I'm 28weeks in 2 days. And in 3 days I have to go to my appointment. My doctor said that the appointmemt I was going to have to take tje glucose test?  How long does that usually take?  And if I fail it, what happens?  Can I eat early in the morning that day I go to my appointment?

The test is just drinking a bottle of fluid and then waiting an hr. After that they take your blood work. The 3 hr test is the same just a 3hr wait.

I had to fast for atleast 8hrs and it took 2 hrs to finish completely. If you fail you'll have to take the 3 hr glucose test. Try to get a drink that's cold it's easier to handle that way

My doctor told me it was okay to eat something but just know sweets. you should call your doctor and see what they say hun.

Its for an hour and no u cant eat they really dont want u to eat passed midnight. if u fail it then u will get a call and they will tell u u have to retake it for 3 hours.
