glucose test??

I know I already have a post but wondering how u lady's got by with your glucose test? Im terrible at having blood taken if I don't eat something before hand I pass out so im petrified cuz im not aloud anything but water from 10pm the night before how am I gonna manage having blood taken with no food? Scared to pass out and hurt baby it's in a week xx

I wasn't allowed to eat for mine. Some drs make you fast... Some don't.   It was hard but it's just something you have to get through for baby.  I failed my 1 hour test but passed my 3 hour one.  It's not as bad as people make it out to be

My midwife told me I could eat proteins but nothing with sugar. I snacked on sunflower seeds before my appointment. Check with your doc. I had morning sickness through most of my pregnancy and needed to keep food in my stomach to keep from being sick.

The Orange flavored wasnt so bad tasted almost like a sugary flat soda

I felt sooo sick after drinking the drink. It was horrible..  As for the the blood I just don't look while they do it & it doesn't bother me.
