You can do oil treatments as often as you want. I do them twice a week. I leave the oils in over night and double shampoo them in the morning. No oil left in and your hair is shiny and soft. You can buy coconut oil at any store. Try to buy the organic kind, but the processed one works just as well. It ranges from 7 dollars processed containers to 24 dollar organic ones.
Yes you can dye your hair. Its perfectly safe. The dye, contrary to belief, doesn't absorb that much into your scalp. It won't harm your baby. I do recommend buying an ammonia free hair dye though so you aren't inhaling so many chemicals.
My hair has grown from collar bone length to the middle of my lower back in the near 7 months I've been pregnant.
My hair is growing like never before i dicede not to cut it till i have my baby thats in less then 2 weeks, so for over a year i haven't touch it at all
With my daughter , that pregnancy grew my hair because I was taking my prenatal vitamins . But , soon after I gave birth the hair that grew from me being pregnant shedded. & trust me it was lots of hair that left my head . So, now with this baby i'm satisfied with the hair that I have. If I were you , I would definitely try treatments & coconut oil plus the olive oil! Those are a plus in my book . But just don't oil it too much . I would do a treatment every 3 weeks. . . You don't want to weigh your hair down with too much of oil!
Thank you ladiess (: & @roflbecca can you die your hair too? I'm 15 weeks & where do you get coconut oil from? Do you got to do that with the hot oil treatment? I want my hair to grow cus I also loveeeee long hair (:
Cutting the dead ends off your hair doesn't like trigger your hair to grow faster lol. But cutting the dead ends off will make your hair appear healthier. Do hot oil treatments. Coconut oil and olive oil are best.
And continue taking your prenatals.
This is coming from a hair stylists.
Maybe get a trim to cut off any dead ends and it should help? I just got mine cut(like 8 inches.....) and it feels a lot healthier, im hoping it grows out quickly! I loveeeee long hair.
prenatal vitamins will make your hair grow, and if you flip your hair down and massage your scalp for 5 minutes each night is suppose too help it grow as well, i use herbal essences 'honey im strong' shampoo and conditioner
If you are taking prenatal vitamins they will help and make your hair long and healthily I have the same problem with my hair.
