headache

I'm about 5 weeks along, I believe. I've been getting horrible headaches. What am I allowed to take for headaches? Or does anyone know any home remedies?

Oh and my big helper with the chest pain and headaches is ice cold glass of water, sip it slowly, and it seems to help.

Acetaminophen is the safest, they say no Advil and try to limit the ibuprofen.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that headaches are common in early pregnancy.  Often they improve as time goes on.  You can take acetaminophen as directed.  Often the pain may respond to massage or acupuncture.  I will let the ladies of the forum chime in with home remedies.
IF all else fails, contact your doctor, we often will prescribe Fiorcet for patients who don't respond to Acetaminophen
Goog luck!
