heartbeat determines gender of baby

How does heartbeat determine baby's gender? Or is this just old wive's tale?

Hi!
Its mostly just a wive's tale.  There was one study in which they measured the babies' heart rates in labor, and a slower heart rate predicted a boy.  A bigger heart beats more slowly, so that is probably why--boys tend to be a bit bigger than girls.
Ultrasounds are much better predictors!

its just an old tale...people love coming up with ways to tell the baby's gender but the only way you are truly gonna know is when you have the baby or you find out through and ultrasound
