heartburn or not

Hey beautiful ladies!
Im due in about a week but having a scheduled c section on Tuesday. For the past 2 days Noe I've been in the ER for excruciating pain that moves from my chest to my back. Its a sharp pain and it doesn't go away for hours at a time. Doctors think it may just be heartburn but I've never known it to feel like this. With my first child I didn't have these issues so I'm kind of lost on the situation. Any of you ladies experience this? If so, do u have any remedies to make the pain go away or at least ease it?

Ugh, yes.  I had this type of heartburn. It was so painful.  I had to watch what I ate.  And drank.  I made sure that I didn't eat or drink very much long before I was going to lay down.  I would eat grapes for a snack as I got less heartburn with that.  I ate tums lke they were going out of style.  But it's hard.  Thankfully it will be over in a few days for you hon.  good luck
