help!? are these signs of a miscarriage?!?

Hi, I am right at 4-5 weeks. I went to the doctor 2 days ago and had an early ultrasound because I was having mild cramps. All the tech could see was a small gestational sac. I got a call yesterday from the doctor and they said they wanted more blood work to check if my hormones are increasing. This scared me! I went in yesterday and had the blood drawn. They called this morning and said I did have a rise in hormones and wanna see me monday for another ultrasound. I wouldn't be this concerned because it is so early, but earlier in the week I had pretty bad breast soreness, and now it seems to have gone down a lot. I have no morning sickness but I am very gassy and have some gas pains. This is my first pregnancy and I'm just wondering if this is all normal!? Any help would be great!

All of that is normal. The boob soreness will come and go sometimes. It's good that it raised. Try not to stress about it.

i had no pregnancy symptoms till i was 3/4 months pregnant with my first!! most people don't have symptoms till 6/8 weeks normaly streasing is not good 4 you or baby!!! just try to relax i no easya said than done. as for the scan they would only see the sac at that stage anyway and some people release pregnancy hormones slower than others. most sights iv'e read people say the same worried cos symptoms arn't as much any more and then a few weeks later it comes back with a vengance. try relaxe let us no how you get on monday. lynne :-D

Sounds normal to me. It's natural for your doctor to be checking your hCG levels. Many do. Considering the fact that they did an ultrasound so early, it's surprising they saw even what they do. You don't really have anything to worry about at this point. Symptoms will come and go, and don't really mean much in terms of viability.
