If you are trying to get preggo try taking some prenatal vitamins they also help with your hormones and and you body gets what it needs.. at least thats what my gyn told me to do and i stopped the pill in July and got preggo in Sept.
hey,
i was on the pill and stopped to get pregnant too. for two months i felt like i was pregnant. sore bbs and cramps and spotting and bloating, tired and nauseated. all the classic signs. but it was really my hormones getting back to normal. so you just have to be patient for a few months while your hormones settle out to normal. i knew i was ready when i noticed ewcm on my third month and felt more normal than ever. oh and thank heavens the random crying stopped cause that was getting crazy!! so i know its stressful and you feel like you're doing everything wrong and it wont happen. but be patient, its nothing you can control right now, just let those hormones work themselves out. dont you wish one day could be a whole cycle worth of waiting? it takes time and you will get there. i agree will gillian, i would wait a year and then talk to the doctor about other options. you can also try charting your temp and ewcm. you can try the ovulation calendars to help guide you to which days might be your most fertile. but i trusted the ewcm the best. and i think the big thing is to not stress out. cause the more stressed you are the tighter your muscles and the less chance those sperm have of swimming freely to find that egg of yours. good luck!
For some women coming off of the pill could take anything from 1 month to over 2 years to fall pregnant. I was on depo-provera for 3 years came off of it an TTC for a year with no results. i then went on the pill for 4 months as i had started a new job and have just stopped las month. i'm really hoping this is my month but with trying for the year and nothing happening i'm trying not to build my hopes up.
Try taking folic acid and drink plenty of water to detox your system. I think if your not pregnant within the year then see your doctor but i wish you all the luck in the world!!!
The thing with the pill is that when you stop taking it it kind of throws your hormones out of wack again (for a lot of women that I have heard from). You need to talk to your doctor and explain that you want to get pregnant. Since your periods are irregular, they might put you on some meds to help you ovulate and get pregnant. There's definitely a way to help you conceive, honey. Don't give up hope. Just make sure you go to the doctor :)
