implanion implant trouble

I have had the implanion inplant in for about 1 1/2 yrs and i have had normal on time periods, and about 3 months ago i was late, and then i started my period, and after my period 2 wks or so i spotted once, and since then i have had no period, i have tooken pg test and they all come up neg.  I am having tender sore breast, i am gaining weight, and i never gain weight, ia have been feeling sick to my stomach, early morning and late at night, and i have been extremly tired, please help me what is going on with me, the dr, i had put the inplant in will not say anything but thats normal, i n=know  my body and this is not normal, please help me.

Hi ya, I have had my implant for nearly 2months and last couple days I been feeling sick every time I eat and have actually been sick,my belly is swollen and very crampy and my back is killing me.I have had browny spotted discharge since the implant and now its lil bit red when I go toilet. I have a 3month old baby and iam not planning another one anytime.I have read a lot of peoples post and it kind of sounds similar 2 mine only iam actually vomitting and my bks killing me. Iam toke a test and its neg but with my first child n I had symptoms but not on any contraception my 1st test came up neg den 2-3weeksd late I woz ill done a test and was preg. Iam really worried as iam fasting and I need to know whether iam preg coz fastin while preg is not good at all. Please please help.any advice at all.

ave recently had leakage in my breast, when i get out of the hoy really hot shower or when my husband has to touch, to day i also started spotting, and having a nasty bloddy brown discharge along with major back and lower stomach cramping, major headches,  Could this bwe a possible misscarage, ,could this be the reason i was getting neg results, or am i justing freaking out help me please.

Progestin only birth control such as Implanon, Norplant, Depo Provera, etc are NOTORIOUS for causing weight gain.  They also often cause irregular periods and moodyness--depression, etc.  Most of the side effects you mention are almost certainly a result of the implant.  If you are not happy with this state of affairs,  you should probably consider having it removed.

You might like a Mirena IUD better--this just releases hormone to the uterus and doesn't cause any systemic side effects.  It has about as good a success rate, and lasts longer.

There are also lots of other options.
