itchy skin :(

so my stomach itches really bad at times & i scratch it . But anyway , now the rest of my body itches REALLY bad . to my arms , legs , feet , hands , back , everything itches really bad & it's EVERYDAY . What can it be ? Does it have anything to do with the pregnacy ?

Also can be a sign of HELLP Syndrome..had with my first. It's very dangerous so please contact your Dr and have then check!!

If you do have it they can give you pills to take up till birth and the only cure is delivery. If you have it you also will have to deliver early. I had my son at 37 weeks

Obstetric cholestasis. Get them to do a bile acid blood test. I had it with my first and I was scratching my skin off. Also be aware of chest pain because it can produce gall stones.

Here's some advice from the MedHelp website and our I'm Expecting app on itching. You can find this in the app by going to the Pregnancy Diary from the home screen and selecting Itching from the Symptoms menu. Then click the menu bar in the upper left and select Symptoms Manual to see your symptoms. Hope you feel better soon!

It's probably a result of the hormones, which can do that (happened to me with both of my pregnancies). Depending on where you are in pregnancy, there are a couple of other things it could be, but I'd talk to your doctor.

It does have to do with the pregnancy.  Call ur doc and they will give u meds for this.
