@monica_romeo im worried as well but don't know who to call since it's Saturday
Oh no. Now I'm getting really worried. Sense yesterday I've been really itchy on my feet and hands and back and my tummy. I notice today I had little tiny dots in my tummy. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow. I'm really worried.
I am 35 weeks. I had extremely bad itching. Found out that I have ICP which is really dangerous for the baby. It could be nothing in your case but it's always better to find out for sure.
@jessicag1231 keep us updated
Im gonna go to the hospital cuz i just woke up and im itchy and red bums started to appear again but it seems they are going down my arm
Im getting scared now!! I would call my doc tomorrow
Also just for more info, I was mostly itchy on my hands and feet and it always got wayyyy worse at night. To the point where I was scratching in my sleep and my feet were scratched up and bloody... Needless to say I wasn't sleeping well at night. I also had to be induced at 37 weeks. And had weekly stress tests done and and extra ultrasound to make sure my baby was healthy.
They say you can develop PUPPS in third trimester which is itchy skin with red bumps (rash) and if it gets to out of hand they will have to induce labor because it's not good for mother nor baby, my friend just went threw this last week ;
It's normal to itch during pregnancy due to hormones and streching skin BUT if its really severe I would def8nitely talk to your doctors. Especially if its in the 3rd trimester. Not trying to scare any of you ladies but with my son I got unbearably itchy in my 3rd trimester and ended up having cholestasis. I know a lot of people don't know about this but I was lucky enough to ask my doctor about it because its genetic and my sister developed the same thing when she was pregnant (her son is 6 months older than mine) it could be potentially serious if not treated/monitored. I'm not saying all of you have it but if the itching is really bad I would talk to your doctor about it. Initially they had me try cortizone creams and benedryl but when nothing worked they did blood work and found out that I had it too. But again, its if the itching is really severe. I still have scars on my feet from scratching so bad. Hope this helps. And hopefully its just regular pregnancy itching
I think you should get checked just to be on the safe side..
Okay thanks ladies...because I was going insane because of how itchy I am and it's true I get itchy mostly at night.
These reads are MAKING ME ITCHY lol
my bfs sister in law had that and they induced her because they said it could be bad for both her and the baby, she would not stop scratching, but she said it was worse at night, I mean I would so go in just to get that checked,
@jmstb same here it scares me. But now it seems normal reading that im.not the only one
Yess ! Omg it's the worse thing , to feel better I would put ice on to numb my skin so it can stop itching so much cause I would get the red bumps too and I wouldn't stop scratching them up to a point that they would start to bleed a little.
Do u ladies think it's normal? Should we be worry?
