Well ive always been scared of labor, what ftm isnt right? but today at my birthing class they were showing us a bunch of videos of real women giving birth and now im even more scared! instead of helping me and making me feel better about giving birth like it literally has scared the **** out of me. My pregnancy was planned so of course i knew what i was getting into. well i thought i knew what i was getting into lol. I wamted to have a natural birth with as little pain meds as possible but after seeing that im seriously considering having a c section

thats what my mom tells me, that it takes alot longer to recover. she had 4 c sections and she said it was hell. But idk im just scared lol im just gona have to deal with it i guess, if it happens naturally then so be it. cus it sounds like theres alot of downsides to c sections also

I watched one and threw up lol I thought crap no way am I going to be able to do that. I wasn't sure if I wanted natural or not, but due to low platelet count I might not have a choice but to do it without the epidural

Oh and c section is more than just a big cut its alot longer and harder to recover from than a natural birth. Natural birth it hurts then but once your baby is out you dont even remember the pain

Lol yes it will be the same again you have to remember that this is what are bodies are made for

Yeah I would prefer natural again over a csection because that recovery can be hard at times but they didnt show you the video to scare you just to give you some in site. My first I was afraid but the more video I watched it prepared me for the good and bad

Yea they sure did, i wasnt really expecting that lol. but i guess its good to see whats gonna happen down there.
And yea at first i was all for the whole natural thing, im not really against it im just scared of the whole idea that it has to get big enough for a baby to go thru there. it just gets me thinking that its never gona be the same down there u know? and with a c section i wouldnt have to worry about any of that. just a big cut to take care of lol

I watched some on the internet. I think I prefer natural over healing after a C-section. But if I have to have one for medical reasons then im all for it. I would love to try to go with no meds, but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there.

They show you birthing video's !? I was nervous of that I'm a ftm  to and start my classes in a few weeks
