Well, in truth, that early leakage isn't totally related to breast feeding.  it's hormonal and not milk production.  :>)  Estrogen can do that to us.

but yes, why does it have to happen to ME is my question every time something happens that not everyone has!

I enjoyed nursing.  I really did.  but it is nice to be in charge of my breasts again and have them just blend in rather than being the center of attention both visually to others and my babies!  :>)

domomatrix, in like a year?  ha ha.  Once you breast feed, if you are, and your milk REALLY comes in . . .   all sorts of breast things happen.  I didn't feel like my breasts belonged to me until I was completely done nursing and like a month after that!!  :>))

Some women who aren't even pregnant can express discharge from the nipples due to hormonal issues.  :>)  Try not to worry.  good luck

Tanya, no.  Most women don't.  leaking breasts in pregnancy is not milk production.  Milk comes in after baby is born.

hana-- maybaby.  ha.  you are funny. Well, I will cross my fingers you don't get the mask thing.  I did with my first.  I was not a fan of that.  Ahhh, the things we go through, right?  good luck sweetie

While you hear of some women's breasts leaking in pregnancy, it is not all that common.  Milk to feed baby does not come in until you give birth so it is more of a hormonal reaction that is causing this lactation.  Bummer though if you are having that.  Do you have any brown spots appearing on your face as well (the mask of pregnancy)?  Those two things can go hand in hand.  Pregnancy isn't easy, that's for sure.  But worth it for the prize at the end.  :>)  Hang in there
