yep any cheese that has ingredients you would expect to see in cheese :-) swiss is my favorite!
Thanks. Lol sorry I didn't say it right the first time. What about those colby jack sticks? U know if those are good?
Ooooh! Lol like Kraft brand cheese slices are ok, usually walmart or store brand aren't ok.
Any sliced cheese that has homogenized oil in the ingredients.(usually the very first thing) is just solidified, food colored, oil.
Sliced cheese that has similar ingredients to kraft cheese is good :-).
Is chocolate covered almonds ok? Lol I love almonds. Ill be heading to the store to stock up on some nuts
U didn't offend I was asking... is the sliced cheese real? I really have NO idea. Doesn't it have to be pasteurized?
You can gain lots off cheese tho.. I learned the hard way! I get cheese sticks from costco and have 1. A day. But nuts are good and peanut butter. You are actually supposed to have about 8 servings of grain per day also so sandwiches are good for that and english muffins with peanut butter. Do hard boiled eggs are a quick thing to take on the go too.
Mine drops like crazy too...and its all about protien...nuts...meat...cheese...eggs...eat protien with every meal...even if you eat fruit (which you should)...eat a handful of almonds ir something...thats what the nutritionist told me :) i hope it helps!!
I didn't mean to offend :-( I honestly thought cheese was cheese until a couple years ago. I didn't know that if it said "hydrogenated oil" it was pretty much worthless to a diabetic when trying to control sugar.
Real cheese. Assume ur talking to an idiot. Lol
Peanut butter is great at stabilizing blood sugar. It takes just a little bit, you can put some in some celery as a snack and it'll help.
It processes slower than refined or fruit sugars. And it's actually suggested for hypoglycemics to ready a pb sandwich before bedtime to ensure their sugars stay in a safe range throughout the night.
That and cheese ;-) real cheese, not that hydrogenated oil stuff lol. A little goes a long way.
