Hello,
Sounds like you should have an evaluation for secondary
amenorrheaAbsence of menstruation (amenorrhea)
Amenorrhea - primary
Menstruation - absent
Primary amenorrhea
Secondary amenorrhea. In your case the things I'd want to know are what is your
TSHPituitary and tsh
Tsh level (thyroid hormone) and
Prolactin level, two hormones that when abnormal can
leadLead poisoning to absent
mensesAmenorrhea - primary
Menstruation - absent.
Given your history, I'd be concerned about intra-uterine adhesions, or Asherman's syndrome. This can be evaluated by hysteroscopy (looking inside the uterus with a small camera) or hysterosalpingogram (injecting dye inside the uterus and observing its fill with fluoroscopy.
There are other possible considerations, but those would be the most common. I suggest you seek a second opinion or get referred to an ob/gyn.
Best regards,
Dr. Downing
