I suggest see your doctor. I'm six weeks pregnant and this past weekend I started bleeding right after I ran down a flight of stairs. It wasn't a little bit of blood either. Its been on and off for the last five days. When I went to the hospital on friday they said that it was a subchronic hematoma or something like that and that someone people who have them bleed throughout their whole pregnancies and still have a healthy baby. I didn't believe everthing was alright but when I got an ultrasound yesterday and saw the babies heart beating it was a little more reassuring.

The best thing to do is see your doctor or go to the hospital that way they can tell you what "appears" to be happening. Having someone explain it to you will bring you peace of mind.

It is not normal for you to have heavy bleeding. I do not believe any miscarrage is caused from intercourse. I recently miscarried and there just isnt much you can do to stop one. I suggest that you  see a doctor as soon as possible.
