miscarriage

S/P miscarriage last Saturday and the last three days my vaginal area is very itchy and today I noticed discharge mixed in with blood. Is it possible I have a yeast infection or bacterial. I have been spotting the whole time. I saw my OBGYN Thursday and since she did the exam with ultrasound I felt and Irritation down below that now feels like a yeast infection????????????????

Hello,

I'd recommend you see your ob/gyn and have him or her evaluate you for a possible yeast infection or another cause of vaginitis.  Alternatively, if you are convinced it is a yeast infection (from past experience) you could try an over-the-counter monistat cream and see if your symptoms improve.

I need some advice Im 5 week and on the 15 of Aug.07 I passed a BIG blood clot and i had to leave work.I called my DR. and his nurse told me just to go home and to relax nad see them in the morning. Well i had and ultrasound and the sac in there and my levels are high 1500. But since it to early to pick up a heart beat Im still bleeding very heavy I dont know what else to do

i had a miscarriage on the 8th Aug! i was 5 weeks pregnant, it is now the 19th of Aug i took a pregnacy test yesterday and it was positive, when i squeeze my chest milk still comes out, am i still pregnant?  please help answer my question!

sorry i got my dates wrong i had the misciage on the 3rd Aug, took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive i am also still producing milk could i still be pregnant?

If you were only 5 weeks pregnant when you miscarried you shouldn't have been producing milk yet.  All that aside...it can take up to 8 wks for the HCG levels in your body to go down after a miscarriage.  It's very common to have a positive pregnancy test in that timeframe post m/c

So sorry to post a question here.  I am very concerned and need your thoughts.  I had a miscarriage on June 11th and a D&C performed the same day.  About four wks later I started to get brown spotting which came light at first and then w/clots .  That went on for about two wks.  Went in to see the doc., she told me it was probably my period coming back. Two days later, started my period, it lasted for eleven days.  Went in again, they told me after miscarriage it takes time for body to go back to normal.  Now, a wk and a half later started bleeding again.  Please, someone make me feel better.

hey look im sorry for what happened to you, i had a miscarriage too, back on march, the same day in which i got married, i was so sad, i couldnt even tak about it, when i found out i was pregnant, i was sooo happy, i was planning everything, but never thought about something like this would happend to me...but as a friend told me, things happen for a reason, and let me tell you this, dont be afraid of keep trying, and remember that ur not alone......

i had a miscarriage back on march......my period then began the 19 and it lasted 2 1/2 weeks, i was 8 weeks 3 days........after that, i got my period on april 19, for 8 days, on may, i was late a week, i got it on the 28th, (6 days as always) i was expecting my period the 28 of june, but i got it on july 3rd for 6 days .......on august, i was supposed to have it the 3rd but instead, i was spotting for 2 weeks, it came as blood at first, but then it went to a brownish color, some days i was clean, some i was spotting, i went to see my doctor and she advice me to take birth control pills to regularize my period, y took them for two weeks, the spotting went away the same day i satarted taking the pills but i left them 2 days ago, do you think that what i did was right? i wanna get pregnant.....can you advice me to do something?  thanks for taking time to read my commment

Hello, I miscarriaged the beginnig of March 2007 I was 7 weeks pg.  Ever since then my periods have been so irregular, I got my period on April 7, May 18th, June 18th , July 23rd and August 20th.  We have been trying since June and we still aren't pregnant? Could it still be that my body is not ready due to my cycles are still not normal?   I am worring that it may never happen.  If someone can help me & give me some hope I could really use it.

hi everyone, my second miscarriage was in july, i was 8 weeks gone and it totally devastated me as it was the second time for me and  with my doc telling me there is no problem just to take it easy, my doc has given me the all clear to try again and i am scared as i CAN'T go through it again but at the same time excited! i have been taking my prenatals and really watching my diet and praying this time i willl hit gold.

I took a home Preg Test on Friday Aug 17 and it came back positive.  Well when I woke up Mon morning I was bleeding a little bit, so I called my OB/Gyn and they told me to go to the Er since I am Rh- because the ER would be able to get my test back sooner and I could get my Rhogam shot there.  So at the ER they did all my blood work and a vaginal ultrasound.  My Hcg levels were around 21,000+ and my ultrasound measured at exactly 6weeks 0days, but they could not detect a heartbeat.  I made an appointment with my OB on Thurs Aug 23rd and she did a pelvic exam and my cervix was still closed she also took more blood and my Hcg levels were about 20,000 this time and so she scheduled me for another ultrasound.  Well I had my second vaginal ultrasound yesterday Aug 29 and i measured at 5weeks 3days and still no heartbeat. I am not completely sure on the dates of my LMP, but I think it was around july 4th.  I also have a tipped uterus.  I am scheduled for another ultrasound on Sept 12, but it just seems so far from now and Im worried.  So I am just confused am I having a miscarriage or what is going on?  This is my second pregnancy and with my 1st child I had the same kind of bleeding but with her I was 10 weeks and everything turned out fine.  the bleeding was exactly the same, I got up and there was red blood on my underwear and then no more bleeding, no cramping and no more bleeding either.

as i read these posts, it makes me feel good knowing i am not alone.  when i was 32 i got pregnant first try, had a healthy baby boy, who is now 5.  Last year my husband and i decided to have another, first months trying, pregnant, but 8 weeks later i M/C.  wow ... i always thought stuff like that would not happen to me.... i remember too, calling the doctor after i started to spot brown, they said not to worry just a left over period,  later that same night it turned into blood and by the next day i was clotting heavily... how depressing, it then took 6 months exactly to get pregnant again.  now i am thinking can't possible happen to me again, i was 8 weeks exactly (need i say this was a few days before xmas 2006) along, and whame, woke up to spotting which turned to blood clots and heavy bleeding 2 days later.    This time the M/C was painful, cramped, horrible for like 4 days... here i am pushing 37 and trying hard to get pregnant with absolutely no luck at all.  I went to the doctor he checked my thyroid, everything and said he is not worried cause i already delivered one healthy child.  But i don't understand why i keep M/C, and now why I can't conceive.   It is depressing cause i am getting older and so is my son..... oh well...

I had a miscarriage as well, on 4/17 i found out my tes was slightly positive (??) that meant i was jsut fertilized but it was not gonna last.  On 22nd I has a miscarraige (miscarriage) and bled for about 3 -4 days.  On the 25th I had unprotected sex.  On May 11th I had a blood test to make sure my levels read 0 so that I did not have to get a D&C...the levels read 0..... i did research on miscarriages and found it takes time for system to repair, only to findout in June that I was expecting once again and the Doc told me I conceived on May 14th.  I am so confused b/c my levels read 0 on May 11th... the Doc told me I got pregnant between May 2nd and May 12th and conceived on the 14th.....its all weird to me and I would liketo know if someone can help me out with this question.  I am ahppy about having a baby, I just want to make sure for the 3rd time that it is not from haviing sex on April 25th

Hi all,wonder if someone can give me any advice,im 10wks pregnant today,an so worried,i have been constipated few days now managed to go today,but on wipeing myself i noticed a mucas discharge,normally woulnt worry as no quite common in pregnancy ,but it was a bit stringy sorry be so crude,it wasnt bloody,and i have no pain should i be worried,may be onset of miscarriage,we been trying for several years so would be so distraught.please help.

Hi again,well its confirmed,im currently going through a miscarriage,i went into hospital yesterday early hours,after bleeding heavy,was examined dr said cervix was closed,good think,went home to await scan few hours later but passed 4 or 5 large clots.scan confirmed,sac now empty,opted to not have d+c but go naturally,she said would next 24hrs,sureky i am,sat in bed now cant move had 8  hours of bleeding.think passed sac now lost several clots,now just bleeding and tummy pain,does anyone no how long this goes on for.wish i had d+c.

sorry to hear that you are going through that.  I went through 2 m/c.  the first one was not too bad, cramp wise, actually same thing, went to the bathroom, and there was brown mucas, few hours later, bleeding, clots, could not believe it.  I bleed a few days then everything cleared up BUT 9 months later became pregnant again (thinking can't happen twice to me) but 8 weeks into it, same thing, the day before i started to actually bleed, i was outside and i lost sight briefly in my right eye, it was really weird, but my vision came back and that night i had stomach pains, but it was not until the next day that i started to bleed.  This time the bleeding was heavy, cramps, clots, you name it.  it lasted 5 days, it was hard, each time i went to the bathroom, each time i cried for i could not believe this was happening to me all over again.  Hang in there, it will clear, wish I could say something else to you to make you feel better, besides I know how you feel, Just sorry it happened to you too.....

Im so sorry for your loses,i  seem to have stopped bleeding again now.its on and off,im so tired and drained,but we are anxious to try again,but also worry alot,but i suppose every woman worrys,part and part of pregnancy,thankyou for your kind words.
