I'm 38+3 weeks and I believe I'm in the process of losing mine! I think I'm losing mine in small pieces.

With my first I lost mine at 39 weeks, it was like clear discharge w/ just a bit of bright red blood. That same day I had an exam and my doc made me bleed even more and I stained my shorts -_- lol. Anyway my doc decided to have me induced cus i was like 2cm dialated so I guess my doc thought baby was ready? Idk but I've read the plug doesn't give a good time frame. Now with my second I'll be notifying my doctor if I do but I won't be rushing to the hospital.

Mine honestly looked like clear snot when you blow your nose but it was just a small strip not more than a inch long and like 1/8 inch wide maybe?

You can lose it at anytime after 20 w but it can also grow back I lost part of mine at about 26 w I'm now 32+1 & I haven't had any signs of labour. Also you don't have to lose your mucous plug to go into labour my mom didn't with all 3 of us and my friend didn't lose hers and her water didn't break when they figured out she was in early labour

Everyones different but with my first baby I lost mine then was in labor that night but some people lose it weeks in advance. It does mean your bodys preparing for baby but theres no real time frame.

Umm to my knowledge you can lose it anytime, no it doesn't mean baby is almost here. I'm 33 and still haven't lost mine some women will lose it right before giving birth is what I've heard. So it just depends, when some women lose it early it grows back and you'll lose it again. This is just what I've read from other women asking if they've lost it on this app, again i personally haven't lost mine yet. But if i do i know I'm on the lookout of some snotty looking discharge lol
