no period negative test

I had sex during the time of ovulation and each time my bf finished inside of me. two weeks after my original period i began spotting it wasn't heavy spotting it was very light it started out dark brown and finished very light pink. the spotting lasted 2 1/2 days. My period was originally due to come back on the 4th or the 5th of this month (Sept) and now its the 10th and i still haven't receive my period. On the 4th i got the usual PMS signs discharge..abdominal cramps..bloating but no period. I took a pregnancy test on the 5th then again today they both came back negative, i have never missed a period in my life and my cycles are always regular and on time give and take a day. i have been having some abnormal cramping in my lower abdomen right around my uterus and sex has become extremely painful. could it be my body took the spotting as a period that's why it didn't come when it was expected or could it be that i am pregnant and the hcg level isn't high  enough to detect in my urine

I truly know how you feel. I was due for my regular period on Sept. 5, instead I startred spotting on August 31. The next day Sept 1 was very short of a reg cycle, no heavy bleeding but i bleed lightly (off and on) then the next day I was spotting again. We lost a baby last may and has been TTC since. I have tooken 2 home test from Dollar tree and both came back negative. I hate to get excited all for nothing my husband really wants a baby. And even b4 the last baby we had been ttc for over 6 years. I hope everything works in your favor as well as mine.

It could be you are pregnant. Depending on what brand test you used, it may not have detected the hcg yet. I suggest trying First Response in a few days and if it's negative and you still haven't gotten a period, I'd suggest taking a visit to the doctor, the pain you have during sex may be from something else.
