normal weight gain

What's normal weight gain?
Throughout my 6 months pregnancy I've only gained 7 lbs . 6 of those lbs I gained in one month which is the month that I started showing . The drs seemed shocked but didnt say anything else.
Is that good ? What's a normal weight gain?

Lol I think once you enter your second trimester(don't quote me on this) you should gain 1-2lbs per week, but if your Dr. doesn't say anything, don't worry. I lost about 10 lbs from morning sickness, then in one month I gained 8lbs. Back, lol my Dr. Said normally that would be bad, but I was just catching up, and to be careful not to do it again. As it is, I'm back to the weight I was before I got pregnant.

Sounds reasonable ! I'm only 5'3 and dr said my weight gain should be 15-30lbs so I was wondering why he was so shocked ! If I'm still at a good weight . But okay then thanks!
