Yes. You can have IV pain relievers, and/or an
epiduralExtradural hemorrhage/spinal. I would recommend that you ask your OB doctor to schedule you for an anesthesia consultation at the hospital at which you intend to deliver. You can NOT have a spinal or
epiduralExtradural hemorrhage anesthetic within 12-24 hours of your last dose--depending on whether you are on prophyllactic or
therapeuticAbortion - elective or therapeutic

Delivery presentations
Infant care following delivery, and plan for induction of labor so that you know exactly when your last dose was, and when you can get your anesthetic. This is even more important if you are planning a C-section. Your OB should know all about this, and the anesthesia department will want to meet you ahead of time too.
If you do go into labor unexpectedly, you may be out of luck with the regional anesthetics, but could still have IV medications such as
