past pregnancy affecting current pregnancy

I had a miscarriage during my first pregnancy. I had just turned 18 and graduated high school. I had some stress from moving in with my fiance at the time and at 11 weeks lost the baby. My first ultrasound the baby was already dead and had stopped development at 9 weeks and 2 days. After losing the baby I got married and tried for 4 months to get pregnant again. As soon as I moved back home and got comfortable again we got pregnant right away. I will be 8 weeks December15 and I am worried I will have the same results as last time. Our first ultrasound is January6. I will be19 in a few months, so I know I have a better chance at a healthy pregnancy.Has anyone had the same experience and if so how did you keep yourself relaxed and stress free? I know stress is bad for the baby, but I have been getting cramps and back pain for a few weeks now. I never had this my first pregnancy. Is this normal?

I had a miscarriage then a successful healthy pregnancy another miscarriage and then another successful healthy pregnancy. Its rough the last miscarriage devastated me horribly and my then 3 yr old. When I found out I wss pregnant this last time(baby is 1month old) I kept telling myself everything's fine and I bought a doppler so I could hear her heartbeat whenever I wanted for reassurance. It helped but I still worried my entire pregnancy. I was excited until I had her and I could hear her crying.  My ob told me I could schedule my appointments as often as I wanted so I was comfortable and they did an ultrasound every time I went so I could see everything was okay.

Studies show that ur next pregnancy after a miscarriage should be normal and healthy. Although its not a guarantee. You will always remember ur first pregnancy and that fear will always be there with future pregnancies. Try to rest as much as possible and try relaxing in a warm bath. When you get stressed or worried breathe and try some yoga. Cramping and light bleeding is normal in the first trimester.

I went through the exact same thing! The only thing you can do really, is try to stay positive. The cramps and back pain are most likely just your uterus getting ready for the growth of the baby. That's what my doc told me anyway and I am now 34 weeks along. Miserably nausea us, but the baby is perfectly healthy!
