If you need a c-section every piercing no matter where it is has to come out.
So for c sections you cant have metal? What happens in the case of me having a dermal in/on my chest? That metal is sort of implanted in my wrist, what would happen then?
I have my tongue, nose and belly button. The belly button I took out around 4 months and my nose and tongue I still have in and I won't remove it until delivery. I had my nipples with my second pregnancy and I took them out around 6 months cuz milk was leaking from them...idk why it happened but I never put them back in.
I have my tongue, hood and nipples pierced. I am 27 weeks an my nipples got huge so the nipples rings really bothered me so i took them out. It's prob a coincidence but 2 days after i took them out i started leaking. I have left my hood piercing in, but as the woman b4 said its smart to put plastic pieces in just in case u end up having a c section cause they will make u take out any metal u have on.
I took out my nipple rings before I even knew I was pregnant because they were so sore and sensitive lol. I couldn't take the irritation anymore . I took out my hood piercing around week 16 because I got super sensitive down there . So right now I have no real body jewelry in :(
I took my nipple ring out months before i found out i was pregnant but ive kepy my tounge ring and only just taken out my belly rings.... Ive heard that when u gey ur nipple done it blocks ur milk ducts but i started leaking colostrum many weeks ago sorry tmi and i have great flow from that nipple everyone is different and some.keep them in through the whole process
I know you can keep toungue ring in until you get admitted for labor then they make you take it out, the nipple rings are fine to stay in but you may not be able to breastfeed if you messed up the ducts
I kept my tongue ring. but when in labor put a plastic obe in just incase I need emergebcy surgery. I took my nipple and hood piercings out when I found out I was pregnanclt with my last cause I wanted to breast feed and didn't want either to tear. wasn't able to breast feed tho cause how I got them pierced blocked the ducts
How many weeks are you? Mine were pretty sensitive early on I really noticed it in the shower, while the water was hitting them lol. But now they feel normal not sensitive at all.
Mine are sensative. Not painful, just a heck of a lot more sensative than normal.
I am 36 weeks and still have my nipple rings in. They haven't bothered me so I've just left them in.
