pms or pregnant?
Ok so i just started the pill after my last menstral cycle which was on june 14. because my pill is set to regulate my period, i am supposed to start tomorrow and then continue to have my period till thursday. Well on the 25 of june (so barely 10 days after i started usuing the pill) me and my boyfriend had sex and the condom broke and he compltely enjaculated inside of me. This is the source of my worries. Well starting last thursday (july 3) i got slight cramping that was soon accompanied but spotting. It was very dark blood. like a brownish color. i contiuned to spot the dark brown blood and i am still very lightly bleeding today (still brown blood). I never bleed enough to fill a tiny panty liner in one day. At first i thought that my period was coming early but during a normal menstrual cycle i bleed very very heavily and cramp so bad i have to take medicine and just lay down with a heat pack. But the cramping i have been getting is on and off and very light. more uncomfortable then painful. But i have been feeling a little queasy the past couple days and i just dont feel normal. im bloated and my lower abdomin has been feeling tight, along with the light cramps. My breasts are sore and heavy feeling. However i know that those are all pre-pms symptoms as well as pregnancy symptoms. I have also been having EXTREME mood changes but that could also be pms. Normally i would test but im nervous that since my pill changed my period to a week before i would normally start if i can test. Also i dont know if this really means anythign but i have been getting random nose bleeds the past like week and a half. So i was wondering if the spotting and light cramps could be caused by implation bleeding or if all of my sypmtoms are just pre-pms. But i feel very diffrent. and i dont want to test tomorrow if it will not give me a reliable anwser due to my pill changing my cycle. Please help!!!! Do you think it is my period? or could i be pregnant?

Its too close for comfort to tell. You're going to have to take a pregnancy test. I suggest waiting until the 10th though. We usually tell people not to count on the pill for protection from pregnancy for AT LEAST two weeks--four weeks is even better. There is a chance, if you took the pills exactly correctly for the first 10 days, that you will be OK.
Remember a couple of things: You can get a prescription for the Morning After Pill any time from the same MD that gave you the prescription for the birth control pills. Most of the time drs aren't judgemental about giving it. Also, if you want to count on the pills for contraception, you shouldn't start and stop them. Just keep on taking them!!! I think you are a bright young woman because you are on the pill, and you are using condoms too. That suggests a great future for you to look forward to, if you don't start your family before you are ready!

i honestly dont know. i would say that if thats a normal thing for you then yes it would count. but at the same time... i know that birth control can totally mess with your cycle especially if you have been going on and off of it. Thats why im confused. cause i never have brown blood. even on a normal period. let alone before im supposed to get one. im totally lost!
omg i am in the same boat as u! brown blood after my period and random nose bleeds! ive been off and on the pill 2! but i didnt take it after coming off it after my 7 day break, i had unprotected sex a few times i hadnt realized id come off the pill i totally forgot! my period is due 10 of this month but coz i had the brown blood for two days a week after my period i dont kno wether i should count my next period date to that day i had my period or the brown blood wat do u think? xxx
also i have been really constipated and it hurts for me to lay on my stomach. and (i dont know what this means it could be nothing i just want to make sure) that my body tempuatures seem to change. i am usually very cold all the time. like in 100 degree weather i have a blanket and sweat pants. but lately i am freezing all the time. and to reiterate with the pill thing. i have taken the pill before. i have been taking it on and off since october of 2008. i know that spotting and some of those symptoms can be symptoms of the birth control regulating. im just looking for an honest anwser. cause i know i can look to far into things. but im scared. im only 16 so this is a big thing. i just need some advice. please help!
