possible miscarriage?

Hi.
I'm 20 and I was a week late for my period so I took two home pregnancy test that both came out positive. That same day I started spotting which grew into more like a regular flow with cramping. Nothing too painful though. That was 5 days ago. I still have tender breasts, really tired, cravings, feeling nauseous, all that. Did I have a miscarriage?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would want you to come in for blood tests.
I would want to do a quantitative beta hcg--blood pregnancy test.
I would possibly do an ultrasound then based on the level.  If the level was too low (less than 1000) I would want to repeat the test in 48 hours to see if it was doubling.  I would also probably do a progesterone test as well to help determine if the pregnancy is going to miscarry.
That is the way to know for certain what is going on!

Its possible you had a chemical miscarriage. Some people do bleed like that while pregnant though. Did you take another test? Either way I would go to the doctor.

I hate to say it but sounds like a m/c I.'ve had 3 one in November... now getting another positive an dk wat to think. I got one neg. Before i started bleeding.... now a month later; positive. Tender breast no cravings but super tired....  maybe i want it so bad I'm giving myself symptoms.... prayers your way

Could be m/c a twin. Or not impossible that its implantation bleeding from the embryo nesting deeper in your womb.

Well I dont know whats going on either.. I anit had a period since oct. 25th and I took three hpt they say positive.. I was cramping really bad at work yesterday.. And spotted one time a dime size of blood and a little when I wiped after all that pain.. But nothing since then. So I wonder what that means? please help..

Sounds like you're pregnant. Take hpt then take another one a few days later. If they are positive, time to schedule an appt with the Ob

If you have a positive pregnancy test your pregnant. You need to have blood work done regardless of bleeding. Schedule an appt soon to make sure you're healthy.

i had the same problem but i had a hematoma which is common. after i stopped bleeding ive had no other problems. im due any day now :) go and get check out. good luck
