postpartum depression need advice.

i had my baby last Sunday and I can't stop crying constantly , it doesn't help that my sister passed away 6 days before he was born and I feel like my hormones are sky rocketing. What should I do? Do you think it'll pass? It's so hard enjoying my new baby feeling this way.

Don't wait for your 6 week appointment go into the doctors ASAP and let them help you!! If they knew you were feeling like this they would want you to come in. I an a super emotional person. My baby was born early and we spent a month in the hospital after the first week the doctors asked me to see the counselor there because I was crying. It took after lot of convincing that I didn't need help that's just me (honestly I can cry over anything) but they have people to help you deal with these feelings I can't imagine a huge loss before all the post baby hormones.. talk to someone they will help and you will enjoy baby much more and help baby more if you are well yourself..

Dr. Fuhrman says this is more common in women when their EPA and DHA levels are lower, and if you didn't supplement these during pregnancy your levels could be low, baby takes what they need for brain development. I supplement with Nordic Naturals Algae Omega,it's mercury free. You can check out his website online. Hope it helps. Take care,
God loves you and cares for you!
