pregant after plan b

Recently my fiance visited me between the dates of 3-13 to the the 22nd. We were very sexually active during this time, and out of panic I took a plan b the 4th day of his visit, as well as the day of his departure. Today I tested positive on a pregnancy test (only upset I have is the waste of money! plan b isn't cheap, hah).

I'm worried that the plan b could have negative effects on the fetus and/or my pregnancy. Is this a possibility?

Also, I have been drinking quite a bit up until today, could that have an effect or is it too early?

Hi!
Congratulations!
The data on Plan B suggest that it "has no effect" on an established pregnancy.
Also, as long as you stop drinking now, the chances of fetal alcohol syndrome are extremely small. ( I have never seen it in someone who stopped when she "found out").
If you were my patient, I would offer you an early ultrasound and a targeted ultrasound later in pregnancy mostly for reassurance, but I would definitely NOT recommend termination for fear of birth defects caused by any of the exposure that you mentioned.
You may wish to consider moving up the wedding date--but there are some very lovely maternity wedding gowns available too!  :)
Good luck!
