As of yesterday i was 5 days late for my period and after doing 4 tests,three had a very faint positive line and the digital test said a definate negative.Then after intercourse yesterday i started to have a pinky discharge which stopped for a few hours,then about 4 hours later i began to bleed very lightly,wheras im usual heavy straight away.I have woke up this morning and it is now red as opposed to brown and abit heavier but once again not as heavy as usual,can anybody please tell me if they have had any similar experiences and the outcome,thanx xx

Hi my last period was around April 28th-30th. I usually have sex with my bf in the safe zones (just after my period or the week leading up to my next period) I rarely have sex in the middle of my cycle because I havent a clue about my ovulation pattern and so on. But last month I had sex on May 17th which I believe would be in my 'unsafe' zone. We did start sexual intercourse unprotected, we only did that for about 30sec and then we used a condom for the rest.
My last period was due around May 25th but it didnt arrive. My nipples were very sore for a week. I was 11 days late on June 4th when I started to get really bad cramping (like period pain) and I started bleeding. This continued for 3 days (until last night). The bleeding was red with clotting and the flow got lighter over the 3 days and finally stopped last night.
I dont know if this was my period or if this bleeding was related to pregnancy. I am worried because my period usually lasts 4-5 days with a steady flow up until the last day. So what I experienced over the weekend was short and the flow started off heavy and lightened gradually over 3 days.
Ive taken 3 HPT's all of which were negative, the last one I took was 2 days ago. My nipples arent sore anymore and I have no other symptoms, except maybe tiredness but Im always tired, but I am still worried that the bleeding could have been implantation bleeding maybe? Ive read so many stories about women who haven't had pregnancy symtoms but they have been pregnant, and they havent shown a positive HPT for as long as 10 weeks into their pregnancy and some women even experienced bleeding during their pregnancy but still remained pregnant. I know bleeding in early pregnancy can also mean miscarriage and I did start off bleeding heavily with clotting aswell, but I dont think it lasted long enough to be a miscarriage? Or is it just a late period for no apparent reason? Ive experienced late periods before but never more than 2-3 days late. So I really dont know what to think.
Im extremely stressed/exhausted and worn out from thinking about all this. Its all self-inflicted and I cant stop myself from worrying.
Im 25 yrs old, in a loving relationship with my bf of 3yrs but if this is a pregnancy, its unplanned and Im very worried and scared.  
Anyone got any advice or information on this?

Thankyou for your advice,i have been to the doctor this morning for my blood test and await my results,its feels like a lifetime to wait,but she has has told me that it is likely that i may be miscarrying if i was pregnant or it may have been a late period with false positives.All the uncertainty is sole destroying as i was certain this time.Thanx again xx

Well it could be you are pregnant and when having sex you irritated your cervix which is highly vascular when pregnant.  Another thing that may have happened is you are not pregnant and having sex caused your period to start again due to the irritation of your cervix.  Or the last option is a possible chemical pregnancy.  I can't say for sure which one it is but keep an eye on the bleeding.  Call your doctor if you have severe cramping or start passing big clots.  Basically anything that is not normal.  If it isn't like a normal period after another day or so I would also call your doctor and let them know you got some positive pregnancy tests and would like to know if maybe he could order a blood test for you just to make sure.  Good luck and I hope everything works out ok for you.
