sore throat remedies

My cough seems to be getting worse :/ about 7 wks anybody know some natural remedies? Also for indegestion tums didn't work so most likely have to get a prescription from my OBGYN. Anybody else having all these health probs during their first trimester??? Feel so alone

Thank you! For my indegestion and heartburn they suggested pepcid but she let me know all drugs are not completely safe to take. So now I'm not really willing to take that I don't want to hurt it at such an esrly stage

Not sure how to help with the heartburn but try a hot tea with honey (no dairy) to help with the throat. I do know if ur actually getting sick sudafed and normal robitussin and mucinex are safe to take while pregnant. But its still good to talk to ur doc and get their opinion on what to take. I know the first time I got sick durring my pregnancy I went to.the clinic and they told me it was just broncittis but when I told my OB she also did a quick exam and realized I had a sinus infection as well and was feeling much better after she suggested two more things to take with my antibiotic.

I am 36+5 and I've been sick with a bad cold about three times and there's not much they will let ya do... Plus I have a heart condition so on top of that, the medicine they would let me take, I couldn't! Lol the best thing they gave me was Zyrtec. I know it's for allergies, but it helped. Other than that I sucked on cough drops constantly or sat in the bathroom with a warm
Shower runnin to help clear me out. The heartburn, they gave me a prescription bc i have gerd too so the heartburn and nausea was horrible! Just talk to the doc and maybe they can help ya more! Hope you feel better!
