spotting a week before period is due?

Hi there,
My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5months now.
A week ago(a week and a half before my period is due),i began very light, brown spotting. Its just finished now, yesterday I had a tiny little bit of blood when I wiped but that was it.
Im very tired at the moment,i feel quite bloated and occassionally feel a little sick.(not to the  point I have to throw up though).
Im wondering if this could be signs of pregnancy or is it just some kind of early period or so?

Thanks a lot

That might have been too long to be implantation bleeding, but everyone is different so you never know :) Take a test when you've missed your period. Good luck!

implantation bleeding usually occurs 7-14 days after intercourse and lasts 2-3 days. i had it with my first pregnancy. it was very light pink, very light in flow and lasted only a couple of days. It could be early signs of pregnancy in your case, but it could also be so many other things as well. you can do a first response test before your period is due ( i did this and got a bfn when i was in fact pregnant ) or wait until your period's missed and test with a dollar tree pregnancy test- people on here say they're great for results, best of luck
