I heard that if women in your family had stretch marks, you will most likely get them as well. I've tried everything. And I still have stretch marks.
I agree that stretch marks are hereditary, however try as much as possible to apply a good moisturizer as soon as you finished taking a shower.. If all fails and you still get them, then you can continue to apply a moisturizer and they will fade away..I found this great recipe which comprised of a mixture of coconut oil, almond oil and shea butter, equal parts of each..
Well truthfully you can use anything as long as it provides "moisture" to your skin. Stretch marks are inevitable and truth is doctors don't really have them fully figured out yet. They're mostly genetic. I'm going to be 31 weeks in 2 days. None on my belly (thank god) but I've began to notice a few on my boobs now and below them too. Horrible but stretch marks just might disappear in color but not completely vanish. It ***** really as they're located in the middle layer of your skin and have to be surgically removed! :( I've done plenty of research on them as I'm already uncomfortable with the ones on my boobs.
Pure coacoa butter or raw shea butter
My mom told me to use baby oil, but it's too oily for me. I switched to cocoa butter and I love it. It stops me from itching and seems to be keeping the stretch marks I have, under control.
I use bio oil. Not to sure if it is any good but my friend told me it was brilliant. It's very oily and doesn't seem to dry in for ages, i don't like using it because of that so what i have starting doing is actually putting some in the bath. My mother told me that she used baby oil or baby lotion. She had 5 kids and not one stretch mark. So maybe try the the bio oil in the bath and they some baby oil after your bath or baby lotion.
