too late?

So my son has been on a strictly formula diet for about 4 days now and I have not pumped or anything since Wednesday...is it too late for me to still try bfing? I still have a little bit of milk in there because it will leak if I squeeze it...is my supply done for or do I still have a chance

I relactated a month post partum with my daughter. Just put baby to breast and pump every two to three hours round the clock. I know it's tedious, but it will stimulate your breasts so you produce more. Also look into fenugreek.

yeah you def still have a chance! I heard of a story where a woman's baby was 6 months old, and she hadn't breastfed since he was a few days old, and she started to try to breastfeed again and was successful.

I had the same problem.only.I gave up, it will be hard but u can do it. Intake a lot of water, and u can even try fenugreek(sp?) Also let him suckle even if he isn't eating that way your supply will boost back up. I'm not sire if there are more methods but this is what lactation consultant suggested also if you have an electric pump keep pumping and pumping. I hope it works out for you!
