uti in the third trimester
Has anyone had one? Did oral antibiotics work for you?
Mine is a five day course thats why I thought it may have started working but thankyou for the help :) it made it ten times worse today because I had a scan that needed a full bladder and they were running late so I held a full bladder for almost 2 hours :(
If you want to clear it without killing the good and bad bacteria in your body (antibiotics do that) then drink as much lemon water as you can stomach over a day or two, that will flushit through qquick. It alkalises your body which is why you got the infection because your pH balance is off
Give it few more days. Mine was a 10 day course i think? Didnt find relief until day 7 or 8. I know it *****. Best not to go in cuz theyll just tell ya to finish ur meds. Just drinks LOTS of water itll pass soon. Now once u finish them if its still hurting then yes definitely go in.
How long did the antibiotics take to work from you? Mine is very painful and ive been taking them for 2 days no change should I go in?
Yes I have. They did work for me. What helps to keep them away is to drink cranberry juice. All natural cranberry not cocktail. Avoid sodas and sweet drinks while u have a UTI also. Take care
