I was given vicoden at the hospital a few months ago, because of pain from a ruptured ovarian cyst. They said it wouldnt hurt my baby at all, and now I'm 30w4d with a healthy boy. I only took it when the pain was unbearable, but because of the cyst i was told it was a threatened miscarriage. Still going strong. Hope you feel better soon.

Vicaden is completely safe. I have kidney stones and I've taken it a lot this pregnancy. I've asked several on docs their opinion . As long as your not popping them like crazy...then the fear u get addicted to it...otherwise its probably fine.

I was thinking the same thing and by me having a threatened miscarriage I wasn't sure why they would give me this

Vicodin is a class c drug, it could, not proven but could, cause miscarriage and/or birth defects. Ask your OB today! They will not let you deliver a baby if you have it in your system because it can cause fetal breathing distress. Look it up on FDA
