Im going to 35 weeks on Friday with boy and im 5'3 started 122 now I gained over 53 pds I would not listen to apps just enjoy urself also u eat more when ur having a boy
With my 1st I started at 115 and had her at 160. My son I was 123 and had him at 190. This baby I started heavier at 145 and im 32 weeks and weight 170. My drs NEVER said anything about my weight. And my babies were veryyyy healthy.
I was exactly like you and my doctor was mad at me for like three appointments because she said I was gaining to much too fast...but other people thought she was just being nit picky. Her goal for me was to gain like 20lbs..I've gained 35lbs and due tomorrow. Lol, she now tells me that I look beautiful and I sit there like... "really..5 weeks ago you called me fat." Lol..
No worries momma. I'm at a weight gain of 16 pounds and I'm 21 weeks ! You're normal
You ladies are the best! I'm all sitting here scared haha thank you so much :)
With my first I weighed 105 when I got pregnant and got up to 165 when I had her. It all just depends on your body. I'm pregnant with baby #4 now and I've always gained alot of weight pregnant no mafter what I ate or if I exercised. So don't worry I had healthy babies every time and the only big baby was 8 lbs 2 oz. Everyone is different and I don't think they should have a standard for weight gain.
I'm 16 weeks and have gained 7 lbs total and it says I'm above normal. I'm not worried about it since I know I'm eating healthy, I can barely eat meat and anything fast food or deep fried makes me nauseous. Go with what your doctor says.
I was 103 prepregnancy and I am now 32+1 and I am 125. I gained like 10 pounds in a month and my doctor was excited
I think I have had excessive weight gain. Im 8 weeks and 3 days but ive already gained like 8-9 lbs!! Is that bad??
Yep books are more accurate then this app. The hospital dietitian gave me one to chart my weight and its fine whilst this app says excessive without gaining anything is 8wks :-/
You are normal :) dont worry. Excessive weight gain is more like gaining 50+ and being full term. I think the weight part is really off so I consulted a book :p
maybe that's why my doctor looks at me like I'm stupid hhaha thank you ladies! :)
I gained almost 35lbs.. I'm 5 2 weighed 100.5 at the beginning and now I weigh about 130-140
At one pound over, or even holding steady with the topmost number of average, this app has and is informing me that my 9-10 lb weight gain is excessive. I feel bad enough with out it. -_- I've decided to keep track of my weight myself and ignore the weight part of this app. My doctor wasn't concerned so I won't be either.
I'm having the opposite problem. I'm not gaining weight and my Dr can't figure out why. I eat a ton and I'm able to keep it down but havent gained much. My Dr. Is afraid that my baby is eating me while my body metabolizes everything quickly. My baby is healthy and normal so I guess I can't complain. So as long ad everything is OK with your baby I don't see how being over would hurt
I'm no longer using the weight part.
I've gained 4 lbs over the recommended amount as of now and this stupid app tells me it's excessive. F this app the weight part just makes me feel bad about myself so I'm not longer using it.
I'm a diabetic.. so I'm not sure if I still do that or not nothing has been mentioned about it though
I have the same issue. Excessive weight gain. 38 lbs so far only 29 weeks. My midwife seems OK with it. I'm tall though at 5 10. Have u had ur sugar test yet?
