weight?

what did your babies weigh at 26 weeks? I just got back from my growth ultrasound and he's a whopping 2 lbs 3oz! I looked up a chart for average fetal weight and it says the average at 26 weeks is 1.68lbs!

I'm hoping he stays on the bigger side, because at least if they do induce me at 36 weeks like they've been planning, he'll be my little chubbz. :)

At 24 weeks my little man was weighing almost 2lbs and in the 80% of his gestational age. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and if i had to guess what his weight was i would guess a little over 6lbs. I wont have any more u/s but i am guessing he will weigh. 7Lbs 12oz. Hubby and i have a bet;)

I had my last ultrasound at 28weeks she was already 3 pounds and in the 70th percentile... If your at the 60th it means your baby is 60% bigger than all baby's at this stage. But yeah 50 is Normal

N that can go up or down...at 26 wks I was at the 16th percentile but I wouldn't put too much faith in ultrasounds my son was a lot bigger then what they were telling me he was gonna be

yup but they mostly hope women to stay at 10 percentile you know the lower line.. if baby measure big it can indication of problem with swallowing amniotic fluid.. they are just there to help doc/MW to understand if theres a problem.. if you go below 10th percentile they do U.S to see if theres any growth restriction thus inducing early. and if u measure big they will need an u/s just to make its just baby gaining weight not any other problem.. i really cant tell much whether they do induction for heavy babies or not because i m measuring big and well they just said if u measured big at 34wks meaning going above 90th percentile will need another U.S..  i checked on net some women said that they did glucose test again to c if they missed something when women had the first one.. so dont know really.. and also some scary bits as well like they might suggest c section.. but i doubt it :)

Yup! My little man was 1 pound at 21 weeks so that sounds about right. And 60th percentile is good, yourself truelys son was in like the 4th at 32 weeks or so and he ended up being over 4 pounds at birth so keep it up!

also i confirmed his weight from U/S now i have appointment for 34wks and i m hoping he stays at 90th percentile.. those three lines on chart are estimated weight for baby and it also helps midwife to understand if baby has growth restrictions etc.. but they are not always correct.. :).. its always give or take two pounds when baby is born :)...

My daughter weighed.almost 2 pounds. The 60 percentile thing is just to see where your babys weight is compared to other babies. 60th percentile is fine
