I'm not saying this is her case but sometimes people could only afford fast food. Its unfortunate that healthy food is so expensive. I also eat fast food at times and did with both my previous children and they are fine.

She asked if it would affect her baby. Point blank the answer is yes, it could. The modifications that they make to fast food are completely terrible (I don't eat it period). It does raise diabetic risk, weight gain, autism, ADHD and some seizure disorders. Does it mean your child will definitely have these issues? No, it does not. Some women can smoke their whole pregnancy and have a healthy baby, others have heart babies and premature babies. Its like a game of Russian roulette. Won't definitely get the bullet but its much easier to dodge it if you don't pursue it.

I eat fast food a lot as we'll....I don't have diabetes... I passed my test everything has been good so far. I'm probably gonna gain more weight but everyone's pregnancy is different so that happens anyways lol nobody needs to get butt hurt because some people eat fast food a lot. It's not like it affects them and their life. My mom also ate fast food a lot when she was pregnant and all four of us are fine and we all weighed healthy and everything. I personally could care less what people say about me eating and what not. I will eat what I want. If someone doesn't like it too sad for them.

Every women & pregnancy is different. I won't go off of any other women's experience, Your best bet is to talk to your doctor about it. Cause they ask you if your eating healthy foods or not. Also is there a WIC program near you that you can go sign up for? They can give you checks for Fruits & veggies, milk, beans, peanut butter, cereals, cheeses, Some of the foods you need while pregnant. Good luck momma (=

I don't think that's all that true either cause when i was pregnant with my daughter I never really ate meat, fruits or veggies. I ate hamburgers from McDonalds and pizza A LOT and my daughters who's 1 1/2,is not a picky eater, she eats everything we give her including sea food (she's obsessed with shrimp). We can't get her to eat hamburgers from McDonalds, she eats the pickles off it,so she gets nuggets and she's not much on pizza either unless it has ranch on it. She loves fruit, that's all she would eat if we let her!

Please remember for th future...what you eat a lot of so say fast foods. The baby can get a taste of what your eating and will get used to it. So when your baby is trying to eat regular foods, like the canned fruits and veggies. They might not like it cause they're used to fast food. And I don't see very many mommies getting an 9 month old a burger to eat ;) it's just your baby may be a very picky eater growing up. Not trying to hate, just letting you know my opinion. I personally have fast food like 3 -4 times a week, I munch on tons of fruit, and veggies and eat lots of cookies. I take my vitamen everyday and drink 3 glasses of water, 2 orange juices, 1 large cup of milk and 1 diet coke in everyday.  My baby boy is very healthy and active right now! He moves and kicks all day every day. My doctor said I'm her healthiest pregnancy she has had in a long time! So eat what you want, but I suggest drinking a glass of milk here and there and grabbing a banana or Apple to munch on too. But after I read this discussion I'm currently on my way to McDonald's to get some nuggets! So do what ya want momma!

I've ate fast food a lot in both my pregnancies and my daughter is just fine and so is the one I'm pregnant with. Pregnant or not fast food is not healthy but half the stuff ppl eat are not but we still eat it! Anything can be unhealthy if you make it unhealthy. For the first few weeks this time all I could handle was fast food, your baby will be just fine and I'm sure your eating other things threw out the day other then just fast food.

Then don't eat it. But telling these women that they babies will be sick and all this crap because they eat fast food is bs. I literally ate WENDYS Dang near everyday my entire pregnancy with my daughter and she was healthy. I ate what I could when I could. Just because y'all don't do it doesn't mean its wrong. If she wants to eat fast food then let her. Are you people raising her child? No. So don't be so concerned that what she is doing is so wrong. Or not right. In don't eat a lot of fruits or veggies. I rarely eat. My prenatals usually make me sick. Doesn't mean my baby isn't healthy.... Y'all are ridiculous.

Ok ladies heres the deal...fast food crap isnt healthy....should we eat it no do we eat it yes once in a while is ok all the time is not ok....money and time are no excuse so lets be real here are some facts fast food is all genetically modified(gmo) high in sugars fats and bad oils the meat is pumped with hormones and not judt is the crap gmo its also grown with pesticides like the piece of tomato and lettuce ya they are hardly real veggies at all pesticides are neurotoxins and may even be linked to autism i mean why do kids have all these problems that werent around 100 years ago something to think about fo dome research looks up the hormones in meat look up gmod and pestivides will your kid be ok?? Who knows and sometimes takes years to really find out eat orgsnic and healthy ladies its not so hard and one day a week or so order whatever u want but not everyday i mean its only 9 months if u dont care about your body then fine but its not just u anymore sorry just stating the facts eating that stuff sounds so lazy to me and more expensive as well....

Please excuse my typos.  My phone seems to hate me today and wants to do its own thing.
Indulge in cravings every now and then. Lord knows I do. Just make sure most of what you are eating is good for you.

You should really make healthier choices. Fast food is OK every now and then but not every day. You really should be getting mostly fruits and veggies with lean protein. You are raising your risk of gestational  diabetes which can cause all sorts of complications for you and baby. Also, many studies have shown that women with a poor diet in pregnancy have a higher risk of r complications in delivery, are more likely to have babies with issues and baby is more likely to be obese in childhood. There are also some studies that shoe a link between the preservatives used in fast food and children with an duties or severe learning disabilities.

Honey, eat whatever you want. Just supplement it with healthy smoothies etc.  I think it's the naked brand in the juice section, the green kind has a full days serving of your fruits and veggies in an 8 Oz glass. It tastes good and you don't have to worry and bout not getting the right amount of vitamins from your diet. Happy eating girlie :))
