Overfeeding My Premature Baby?

by pxyrckr88, Sep 16, 2009 10:06AM
My baby girl was born 35 weeks and 4 days at 5lbs 9 ozs. She is now 1 month 2 weeks and 5 days old weighing in over 10lbs. She takes in about 4 to 5 ozs ever 2 to 3 or 4 hours. Sometimes will eat even a little more. We try not to feed her so much but we feel she's still hungry since she will not let go of the bottle. Would it be safe to say we're overfeeding her, or is it okay for her to be eating so much so little?

Just want to be on the safe side and not have it being she's eating to much that it will eventually be bad for her.

Please help we are first time parents after trying for 3 years and would like to do the best thing for our daughter.

Thank you for reading and responses. :)
