citrobacter kersi
I just gave birth to twins 3 weeks ago. They are premature by 10 weeks. They were just diagnosed with Citrobacter koseri in their stool and placed on antibiotics. I know this isnt the place to ask what is going to happen but i need to know how to ask someone about it because im extremely concerned by what i've read on the internet. They are extremely smart, already taking most feedings from bottle, they make great eye contact and let you know if somethings wrong. If they start on antibiotics before they get brain abscesses will they be okay, or should I never leave their side because i may not get another chance?

My baby just got out of the nicu. He had citrobacter. He was in for two months. I was going to post his story and answer your question, but I see that you posted this last february. How are they doing and what should I expect?
