fetus abnormal development

My wife now Pregnant  with 28 weeks and latest scan showed that the baby have swelling head problem. When we scan on 24th week, there is no problem. I will appreciate if you can give detail what cause this and what are treatment available.

My wife thyroid has been removed partially in few years back from operation and she is 29yrs old. This is a first pregnancy.

i've never had this happen so i'm not much help i just wanted to say pg is hard and scary and just wanted to tell u guys to hang in there and be strong. those babies are strong too. the docs will do everything they can do. wishing u the best.
