unusual fetal development - 1st term

I have a daughter in law who just was confirmed pregnant ..

About 3 weeks into it we were informed that the fetus was develping no bone structure at all.

Absoulutely none.

An abortion is scheduled for next week.

Has anyone heard of this happening before?

Thank you for your help in this matter,

Daryl

Bone structure starts in the first part of the second trimester. Its not at all uncommon for babies to not have bone structure in the first trimester. I would not be so hasty to terminate. Give it a couple months to see what progresses of the pregnancy!!!!!
